Kodiak Launch Complex (KLC) Launch Pad 1 Service Area, Kodiak, Alaska, and the Minotaur IV launch vehicle (LV) flying STP-S26. STP-S26 is contracted by Orbital Sciences Corporation. The STP-S26 launch vehicle has a Hydrazine Auxiliary Propulsion System (HAPS) which will give it a dual-orbit capability. Six payloads will be released at the primary orbit of 650km. The LV will then ascend to the secondary orbit of 1200km and release its remaining payload. STP-S26 is flying 16 experiments on six satellites. Four satellites are microsatellites and two are CubeSats. STP-S26 will also fly the Demonstration Separation System (DSS), which will release ballasts at the secondary orbit as a technology demonstrator. Future missions could utilize this capability to deploy spacecraft into either the primary or secondary orbit.

Kodiak Launch Complex (KLC)
