Titusville, FL (APRIL 21, 2018) – Millennium employees made their way to the Astronaut Hall of Fame Induction Gala held at the NASA Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Titusville, Florida. Veteran astronauts Capt. Scott D. Altman and Dr. Thomas D. Jones were selected to receive one of the highest honors in their industry and were inducted into the Astronaut Hall of Fame. Not pictured is the second Millennium table, who dined with newly announced Orion Astronaut, Chris Ferguson. Chris Ferguson is a retired U.S. Navy captain, former NASA astronaut for 13 years, veteran of three space shuttle missions, and an F-14 Tomcat pilot and test pilot who served aboard the USS Forrestal and USS Nimitz. The Astronaut Hall of Fame is envisioned as a place where American astronauts are remembered and honored, visitors can learn about the lives of space heroes through compelling displays. Created by the Mercury Seven astronauts, the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame inductees are selected by special committee of the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation.
