Arlington, VA (December 6, 2019) – Patrick Murphy, President and Chief Executive Officer for Millennium Engineering and Integration Company announced changes to Millennium’s corporate organization and creation of a Chief Operating Officer position. This change better positions Millennium to capitalize on new opportunities and overcome emerging challenges while maintaining focus on Millennium’s existing customers and continuing Millennium’s aggressive growth posture.
The Chief Operating Officer position reports to the CEO, and is established to lead and optimize business operations and contracts, and focus on customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, financial management and growth within Millennium’s four business units. Dan Deans, currently serving as Senior Vice President for Corporate Development, is promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and will lead Millennium’s entire Operations enterprise in this new position. Murphy said “Dan has been instrumental in our growth and development throughout his 10+ years of service with Millennium. His understanding of our business, culture, and commitment to excellence is exemplary. His demonstrated skills in leadership, personnel management, and customer relations give me the utmost confidence in his ability to lead and grow in this position.”
Dan is in his eleventh year with Millennium, and has overseen growth of the company from a 50+ Million enterprise to a 250+ Million dollar enterprise, partnering with Millennium’s talented team of leaders and business developers to grow into new markets and serve new customers. Prior to Millennium, Dan served in various executive and leadership capacities with ManTech, SRS Technologies, The Dow Chemical Company, SAIC, and MEI Technologies. He serves on the External Advisory Committee for the University of Texas at Austin Aerospace Engineering Department, on the Board of Directors for the Annual Reliability and Maintainability Symposium, and has recently been elected to the inaugural class of the Aerospace Engineering Academy of Distinguished Alumni at the University of Texas at Austin. Dan will continue to serve in his Corporate Development capacity until a Corporate Development Vice President replacement is named.
Additionally, Larry Foor is promoted to Business Unit President and General Manager of Aerospace Systems. Murphy added “Throughout his 18+ year tenure with Millennium, Larry has led and grown one of the most vital customer accounts for Millennium. With a workforce of nearly 200 people, Larry has established Millennium as a leading engineering and test contractor for the Missile Defense Agency. As we continue to grow, we look to add additional autonomy and responsibility to each business unit. We anticipate future promotions in the business units to reflect this increased autonomy initiative.”
Kathryn Gaulke is promoted to Vice President of Millennium Engineering and Integration Services. Murphy said “While serving as the Program Manager for NASA Ames’ Project and Engineering Support Services, Kathryn has successfully led our highly talented team of professionals at NASA Ames Research Center and demonstrated an unending commitment to serving our NASA customer and delivering documented excellence to them.”
Kylie Allen is promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and now supervises our Contracts Department. According to Murphy “Kylie has transformed our back office operations through the development and modification of processes and procedures that has put Millennium in the strongest financial position in its nearly 25 year history.”
Rounding out the organization changes, Porf Dubón, formerly Vice President of Space and Missile Systems, now assumes the position of Vice President for Strategies and Analysis reporting to the CEO to help analyze, develop and execute plans to help Millennium achieve its strategic objectives, and Mickey Bourne will now serve as Senior Vice President for Naval Strategies and will report to the CEO on all areas related to growing and strengthening our U.S. Navy business.
