Integration Test Engineer
Job Description:
The successful candidate should have prior broad experience working in a Weapons Systems Program Office environment performing/reviewing/supporting the following functional areas: range support (preferably Vandenberg AFB); test planning and scheduling; test readiness reviews; data collection requirements; facility needs development; environmental assessments; target requirements definition; modeling and simulation validation support; and live fire T&E support.
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 10 to 15 years of demonstrated experience in weapon system design, development, deployment, integration, test and evaluation.
- Knowledge of missile systems is highly desirable.
- KEI is a collaborative government/industry partnership requiring good communications and team building skills and an ability to work with other technical specialists collaboratively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience and an ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment (i.e., test planning, requirements development, system integration, system validation and verification).
- Must have working knowledge of the DoD acquisition process.
- Will interface with DoD test ranges, DOT&E, operational test agencies, and prime contractor, and will participate in various panels and working groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) required.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Electrical), Mathematics, or Physics. M.S. in Engineering, Physics or Math or Management and/or formal acquisition education/training preferred (e.g., Defense Systems Management College, Acquisition Professional Development Certifications, completion of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces).
Clearance:
DoD Secret is mandatory. Top Secret/SBI is preferred.
Travel:
25% - Travel will include trips to contractor sites and West Coast Ranges.
