Senior Program Analyst
Job Description:
This critical senior SETA position in the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Program Element Management Directorate (DAE) Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Program Element Monitor (PEM) Team.
Tasks include:
- Packaging responses to external requests for information (RFI) from Congressional, Government Accountability Office (GAO), and Department of Defense Inspector General (DoDIG) officials.
- “Cradle-to-grave” management of external RFI responses that involve implementing internal operating processes that track RFI receipt to closure activities.
- RFI in depth analysis, response coordination, and draft response for senior GMD leadership.
- Direct discussions with GMD 3-Letter Directors, Chief Engineer, Deputy Program Director, and Program Director.
- MDA 2-Letter coordination.
- Timely liaison with MDA Legislative Affairs and Business Operations Directorates.
- Occasional response reaction to D-code action status and response content inquiries.
- When necessary review and comment on Congressional briefings to include Staffer Day briefings.
Requirements:
- Superior writing and oral communications skills necessary to interface effectively with senior MDA executives
- Experience working under tight timelines while producing quality deliverables
- Prior MDA experience desirable
