Candidate will provide System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to the Director, Combined Test Force (CTF), as a member of the Test Analysis and Reporting (DTCA) division. The candidate will provide security support and security administration, event logistics and office administrative support to the Government and Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) Lead in the BMDS Laboratory for Analysis and Data Evaluation (BLADE) in the MDIOC. The primary duties will be to provide security support and enforcement of the Site Security Standard Operating Procedures for the BLADE. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Updating and maintaining the Site Security SOP and associated documents as necessary to ensure compliance with current regulations and instructions.
  • Maintaining personnel records of employees’ security training records and conducting of annual security refresher training. Conducting security audits of SOP compliance (end of day checks, classified printer logs, cipher lock combinations, etc.).
  • Preparing the paperwork and managing the Area and Event Badge process for all BLADE employees and official TDY visitors.
  • Initiate as necessary reporting of security incidents and violations.
  • The position shall also support events scheduled within the BLADE such as VTC coordination, conference room and meeting scheduling, and event requirement support planning with the MDIOC.
  • The office supplies shall be ordered and maintained, to include supplies for TDY personnel.

Requirements:

  • 20 years general experience and at least 5 years specific experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the government facility and personnel security procedures
  • MDIOC Security Knowledge is highly desirable
  • Experience in general administrative duties including experience in meeting planning and logistics, and supply maintenance
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with an ability to generate and edit written reports and briefings
  • Ability to interface directly with the customer and facilitate the solution of problems with a broad number of stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Project)
