Partial full-scale (PFS) integration lead for hate Kinetic Energy Interceptor(KEI) Weapon Systems Program for the Missile Defense Agency(MDA). PFS is the first objective program flight test and essential step in verifying the KEI Weapon Systems. The lead manages a small team responsible for ensuring all engineering activities, methods and products are planned, coordinated and follow KEI SEIT processes; are making satisfactory progress; and product consistent results. Primary responsibility is to ensure all tasks and activities are planned and executed to successfully execute the test. Candidate will work directly with KEI PMO, the MDA KI program office, the KEI program IPT's subcontractors and engineers in various disciplines.

Requirements:

  • 11+ years experience directly related to this position
  • Experience in managing geographically distributed teams
  • Broad knowledge of engineering disciplines and program management skills are essential. Must have experience preparing integrated technical, cost and schedule plans with a virtual team of subcontractor supplies
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to write reports, plans and to provide verbal presentations
  • Proven capability and experience as a cost account manager (EVMS, scheduling, critical path analysis, variance, analysis and recovery - defining the future)
