Program Control Analyst

The Kinetic Energy Interceptor (KEI) program is designed to produce interceptors capable of shooting down enemy ballistic missiles during their boost and ascent phases of flight. This effort will augment the midcourse and terminal based interceptor programs currently underway to provide a layered ballistic missile defense architecture that will guard against potential enemy attack. Duties include all aspects of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) analysis, reporting and maintenance for a portion of a large defense contract. Candidate will work with program management to develop, update and maintain the WBS, WBS Dictionary, IMS, and asset tracking. Responsibilities will also include assisting with budgets, forecasts, program cost reporting and establishing Earned Value Management process. Knowledge of Northrop Grumman financial, program control, and subcontract management practices is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-6 years experience directly related to this position
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word
  • Must possess excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be customer oriented
The following are assets to the position:
  • Earned Value Measurement System (EVMS)
  • Proficiency in MPM or COBRA
  • Working knowledge of ERP/SAP accounting system
  • Strong knowledge of NGMS finance and business procedures/policies/reporting tools is a plus
  • Final grade determination based on experience of the selected candidate

Education:
BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field

Active Secret
